David
I don’t know how to write this so I am just going to begin. Here’s the situtation. The workshop has been cancelled. I said goodbye to the girls at the mixer party and booked the first flight I could get to San Francisco. I’m sitting in a hospital bed with my husband David right now. Yesterday morning I received a phone call from paramedics that David suffered a seizure and was rushed to the hospital. The doctors have found a mass in his brain. We are still waiting for more information and biopsy. They believe it to be cancer at this point. In all of this we believe and trust in our savior Jesus Christ who is not only our source of salvation, but our hope, joy and healer. We are asking that you pray for us. I have specifically asked God to raise a multitude of people to pray for us during this trial. We need strength, clarity of mind for making important decisions regarding his treatment, and we need more faith than we have ever had before. Please pray for David’s complete healing.
David is in good spirits and on the outside seems healthy. I can’t really wrap my head around what is happening. I can only trust God. True to form, David has updated his facebook and his blog with a detailed account of what went down. He can tell it much better than I. I only wish I could have been by his side when it all went down. My friends, we covet your prayers.
Amy

Amy, I’ve been praying for both of you since I heard the news from Kristen. I’m asking everyone I know to pray. David’s blog was so powerful–God will get so much glory through this! Hugs!!
praying right now…
Amy, both you and David have our thoughts and best wishes.. We will be thinking of you and sending our hopes that David’s recovery is smooth and fast. You must be terrified.. Please let us know if we can help in any way..
we never know why these things happen. Sometimes they’re to remind us to lean on Him, sometimes they’re to help others faiths grow as they see someone shine in times of struggle, sometimes it’s for our neighbor who needs the blessings of being able to help and serve you as you go through this…. and no matter what this time is meant for, know that you’re in our thoughts and prayers even a thousand miles away. we’ll pray for you and David each and everyday.
Oh Amy! You don’t know me, but I love reading your blog and look forward to coming to one of your workshops soon. I will be thinking of you two often… I just know he will come through this.
The strength and faith in God that David has clearly shown in his positive blog post is a testament to what faith can do for a person. God is carrying him right now, God is carrying you both!
“LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you’d walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don’t understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me.”
The LORD replied:
“My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you.”
i truly mean it when i say that i am praying for david, and for you & the rest of your family. God is good.
I don’t think there are any words that can soothe you right now so I am praying that God gives you the words to get you through this. MY heart aches for you, but at the same time I have overwhelming optimism for you! I know I don’t know you in person, but I know you through your blog and you are two amazing people. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

And you shall have them.
Much faith and love your way, a sister in your great God
Hi Amy,
A good friend of mine flew to attend your workshop and I read about what happened on her blog and then on yours. Just a quick note……..I am also a photographer and 3 years ago my husband was diagnosed with cancer. It was only found because of another strange infection in the area….by chance or better put….by miracle. After two major surgeries, a ton of prayer and support, my husband has now been cancer free for almost three years. Our God is faithful and He will sustain you in the most amazing ways during this time. This is the hard stuff, the stuff we never imagine. You will make it. You will.

Hi Amy, I have been thinking about you and praying for you & David today and finally realized you probably had an update on your blog! We are praying for you both — and specifically for TOTAL healing. What an amazing thing that God would reveal the tumor the way He did!
Hey Amy,
We are definitely keeping you and David in our prayers. Just a few weeks ago in our class at church Scott Hamilton and his sweet wife came and spoke to us. They told us about when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor after having already been diagnosed with testicular cancer. They immediately prayed about it and over him and he was able to pull through it amazingly. I pray that you can find comfort in the hoards of people praying for you across the country and that untold miracles will come from what surely feels like a complete disaster.
I am so sorry Amy- I too am a blog stalker but just know my thoughts and prayers are with you and David.
you guys will continue to be in my thoughts! i am so so sorry this is happening to you guys.

Hey Amy. God’s timing is so interesting. I have never been to your blog or even heard of you but came across it tonight from a link on a friends blog.
My name is Amy too and I am also a photographer and lover of Jesus but God blessed me with a double gift..I am also a Registered Respiratory Therapist and work in a hospital. I have seen shock and uncertainity many times over the last 12 years and I know this.. God is truly and always in total control and we are to find our way to rest in that. This didn’t take Him by surprise in any way…He has a plan and I believe it is for good. Be encouraged, you and David are being used for a testimony to glorify the name of the Lord. As another great man named David said…”My times are in Your hands”. God is already answering your prayers by raising up an army of praying people. We are contending for peace, wisdom, accuracy, rest, and other things as the Holy Spirit leads. Be blessed, draw close to Him, and be available to even minister to others around you who may be lost, worried, or hurting.
And praise the Lord for silly men playing games…God can even use Kung-Fu to reveal things that need attention. Amen! LOL
I am a new blog reader and usually come out of the woodwork at some point to comment. Well, I just want to let you know my thoughts and prayers are with you. My family has been through having a child with cancer and despite all the scary stuff it comes with some beautiful gifts and you will get through it.

amy, i’m praying today that you and david will experience the peace that passes all understanding. and i’m trusting the Great Physician!!!
Amy, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Just 8 weeks ago I received the horrible news that my young daughter had cancer. It is a devastating time for a family. I wish you all the strength that you and your husband can find to navigate this most difficult time. Your faith will serve you well through this I am sure. Trust your instincts and work closely with your doctors and you will get through this.
Amy, I found this through a photog site and want you to know that my husband and I went through a similar situation 1.5 years ago. He was diagnosed with lung cancer and given 6 weeks to live. I like you could not accept what was happening and began praying for a complete healing. People all over the country prayed with me. Through God’s grace we were sent to a physician that agreed to operate on my husband. He has been great since then and has had no re-occurence. DO NOT LOSE YOUR FAITH, no matter what others may try to tell you. My answer to doubt became “MY GOD said that HE WOULD heal him”. I will pray for both him and you. Stay strong. BJ
… praying for David, the doctors, healing, grace, and mercy.
Amy,
I’m so very sorry you have to deal with this sort of news. It is my prayer that God heals David completely and gives you his grace and comfort during this trying time.
Hugs,
Danielle
We will absolutely pray for Ephesians 3:20 for you & David: “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
You guys are in my prayers. I pray that God will restore David’s health and give you the strength you need to be an encouragement to him. God bless you both.
Amy, I am so sorry to hear that you and your family are going through this. I will add David and your family to our church prayer list. I will tell all the prayer warriors I know about David. I will pray that God’s loving merciful healing be upon him, and God’s will be done!
I’m so sorry!
Oh Amy- my jaw just dropped to the floor. I have no words other than to say that you and David are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
Lifting you and your husband up in prayer now. God is the healer of all. You are not alone.
Amy,
Devastating news-I am sorry you are going through this. Take comfort in the number of prayers going out for you and David. I was where you are now last year when my 3 1/2 year old daughter was diagnosed with an brain tumor as well. Doctor’s said it was probably there from birth and she suffered a fall from a swing a month before the onset of symptoms as well. After surgery, radiation, and continuous therapy, she is doing awesome. I believe the reason why is the prayer. Prayer heals and David will be healed too. Stay strong, you have a long journey ahead. I will be praying for you.
Done and Done..

Amy, you have been in my thoughts for the last few hours ever since I heard of David’s condition. I am so so so sorry that David is going through this and my heart breaks for you. I admire how strong and positive David is right now, and I know that because of this strength and because of the accident/miracle that put David in the hands of the Doctors early I know he is going to be okay. {{{{{Hugs}}}}}}
I’m praying to Holy Theotokos, the Mother of our God, to grant healing/comfort to your husband! I cannot even comprehend what is going through your mind at this point!
I am praying for you guys, Amy. We’ve been through this with my husband’s dad, so we know all too well how scary the prospect of brain cancer can be. I believe that he can be completely healed.
You and David are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
I follow Jasmine’s blog. My family will be praying for you, and I will look at my husband in a new way tonight and with more appreciation. Dear Heavenly Father, grant this family peace and clarity during this difficult time. Give them strength, hope, and energy as they go forward into the unknown. Make your presence known to them in an amazing way where there is no doubt You are with them. Amen.
I don’t know you personally…only from the photography world…but wanted to let you know that I am praying for you and your husband. Praying that you trust in His goodness and feel the peace that can only come from Jesus Christ. I will pray for his complete healing too and also that God will be glorified through all this as He shines through you.
My prayers are going out to you and your amazing husband. I have no other words to say
But prayers are all you need to hear I’m sure.
Amy, I am so sorry for this bad news. I hope David makes a full recovery. I will pray for you and for David. I know that God has always worked in mysterious ways in my life, and what seems upside down now might make perfect sense later. I pray that you will continue to trust in God with all you heart and let Him show you the way.
David, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Praying for you and David, Amy! I’m praying not only for his healing, but that God would be in the midst of you, and that during this time, you will not be moved, and nothing can disturb your calm. That His peace will surround you, and His Spirit will hold you together. (Ps. 46:2, 3, 5)
I read this quote this morning, and it came back to mind as I read David’s account on his blog:
“Him that overcometh will I make a PILLAR in the temple of my God; and he shall go no more out.” To be as immovable as a pillar in the house of our God, is an end for which one would gladly endure all the shakings that may be necessary to bring us there! –Hannah Whitall Smith
David providentially walked into a pillar that saved his life, and the LORD will make him into a mighty pillar of strength through this. Hang on! He will get you through!
Jane

Amy + David I have been praying for the two of you all morning and will continue to do so. I hope that you can feel the peace, love and support that is all around you and know that God is with you every step of the way!
I read about you/david on jasmine’s blog. I’m praying for you. Your husband is an inspiration for his outlook on this situation. I had a cancer scare a couple years ago. As the mom of 5 (but at that time 4) small children, I was terrified. Yet I felt complete peace about the situation, knowing that God had a plan. I wasn’t sure of the outcome of my situation but I was able to remain surprisingly calm. It sounds like David has already been given the gift of peace, and joy on top of that. I will pray for his diagnosis, treatment and recovery. I will pray for peace and guidance and comfort for you.
You have many admirers… people you’ve inspired/taught/led… people you may not know, like myself. We’ll return the favor, turning our admiration into earnest prayer. Joining with the masses. ~Amy M.

Amy,
You don’t know me, but I am a friend of Wendie DeLano’s. My husband had a similar situation just one year ago. He has a stage II astrocytoma in his brain. I remember how I felt last year and I know what it takes to get through it.
As a mother of two (I was 37 weeks pregnant when we discovered the tumor), it was tough to keep myself together, but it sounds like you have made a great start. My prayers are with you and your family.
If there is anything you would like to talk about I would be happy to share my experience with you or just listen. There are lots of support groups out there if you need them too.
Best wishes!

Dear Amy,
I am a friend of Jasmine Star and the Juarez family. I am TOTALLY praying for you and your husband. My husband and I were in a similar situation almost 5 years ago. I, like you, was not by his side when he was in the ER, yet thank the Lord there was time to get to him. They found bleeding in his brain and was rushed to a different hospital and stayed in the ICU for a few days. Thank the Lord, to this day, all is well and the Lord totally healed my husband. I know the feeling of shock that you felt…seeing your husband and feeling helpless. It is all TOTALLY out of our hands, isn’t it?
I want to encourage you that our God, our Savior, is going to pull you and Dave thru this…day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute. Remember, He will NEVER leave you or forsake you…that’s His promise and He keeps them. While in the ICU alone with my husband Psalms 18 & 20 were a comfort to me, especially Psalms 20:7 - “For some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.”
Praying for you and Dave. May He surround you with His peace.
Thinking of you both!
Dear Amy and David, I have been praying for you here in Princeville, Il and passed on the prayer request - May the Lord bless you and keep you. Love in Christ,

Dear Jesus,
While our feeble minds cannot even comprehend the influence this finding will have on the rest of our lives, we continue to trust You. We know that you can provide healing and we petition you to do this for David. I ask, God, that your mighty hand would not only direct the doctors to the correct diagnosis, but also pave the way for removal and cure of this horrible disease. In the meantime, as our hearts and bodies are weary, we pray that you would allow us to use your shoulders to lean upon. You are our steady rock - we know you will not falter. You were there in the beginning and you will be there throughout this as well. Please give Amy and David the strength and courage they need to face every day. Allow them to rest at Your feet and trust in Your wisdom. Give them Your peace that passes all understanding - allow this to be an opportunity to see what an awesome God You are. We continue to praise You…we praise You…in Your might name, Oh Lord…
Amy and David,
May you feel the presence of the All Mighty and feel his abundance peace through this trial. I am here praying and lifting you both up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

I only know you thru your blog (via other photographers blogs). I am a believer…and I will pray! Quick testimony: Last year a friend of mine had brain tumor - we prayed and prayed. She went for surgery but asked for an one last scan prior to opening her up. Tumor still there. She was a little discouraged b/c she really believed it would be gone. Dr.’s opened her brain and when they did - they saw the tumor dry up - so much so that they were able to EASILY get it all out, no issues. And…it was a HUGE miracle for them to see this right before their eyes. She just gave birth to their baby girl, and she’s cancer free. Prayer works. And how awesome that you have a network in place to call on friends and believers to do just that…pray.
You and your family are in my prayers and know God is in control!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and David.

Rest in the hands of God because it is the safest place to be.

Amy,
I met you online during the ‘trial period’ of napcp. I grew up in Midland, and you were so sweet to connect with me. My husband and I will be praying for you during this time. We will be anxious to see how God works. Your heart and prayers are so encouraging to me.
Amy my name is Claire Drumm and I follow Jasmine’s blog and heard what was happening to you and your husband. I to am a follower of Jesus Christ and I am praying for you right now. I live in Conroe Texas and will tell all my friends to be praying as well. Oh how powerful prayer is. God is a faithful amazing God so just hold on tight to him during this time. Seek Him like never before because He is there with you through this all. As I was studying in my quiet time this morning it was wonderful to be reminded that God sent Jesus to die for us and His resurrection from the dead shows His power over death. Oh the power that God has. PRAISE GOD!!!!!
my family is praying for you. in Him all things are possible!
We will keep David in our paryers. I know God can heal him He healed my mother from cancer.
Please know that another couple of prayer warriors have been added to your list. I was very inspired reading through David’s blog, and encouraged to see him standing firm in his faith, anticipating the glory of God to be revealed. What a testimony he will have.
praying for you both.
so sorry amy and david. prayed for you guys.
Oh Amy! I just read David’s blog and I’m so sorry that you guys are going through this, and that you had to drop your workshop. That must have been so stressful for you! I’m sure every person who was there understands and would have done the same thing themselves! I can’t even imagine how you must feel so I won’t try to but know that you are in Nate and my prayers!
Amy I am so sorry I will keep David and all your family in my prayers. Be strong. HUGS Martha Bravo (Beyond just Images)
Praying for strength for you both!
Amy my prayers are with your family! “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
Amy & David,
Prayers for your surgery & healing. Praise God for finding this and his continual hand in your lives.
Amy~ So hard to believe this is happening to you and David. Please know that so many people are pulling for you, praying for you and supporting you along the way. I am amazed and inspired by both yours and David’s faith and strength and God will see you through. You are such an sweet, kind, loving, truly good and passionate person and anyone who listens can hear how committed you are to your Love, David and your commitment to him. Stay strong and positive and we will be praying for the very best. Love to you and a big hug from the Stites’ girls (especially for you when you need it most), Kristy (Carl, Sydney, Alexa & Paige)
Amy,
I just wanted to say that I completely understand what you are going through. My sister had the exact same thing happen January of 2008. Perfectly healthy and then out of no where a seizure, then tests, then surgery, then cancer. She was diagnosed with a stage 4 tumor 6cms big. She went through surgery with flying colors. We had some very sad days together but with the support of our friends and family… she made it through a whole year of chemo.. even managed to get married with a huge wedding in the middle of all of it.. I believe in the power of prayer and also the healing power of laughter. My thoughts are with you and your loved ones.
My sister is tumor free, done with chemo, and working on starting a family right now…
Keep your head up high..
Anna
Unbelievable! My prayers are with you and David. I hope you find the answers you are looking for soon! Waiting is the worst!
Hi Amy I’m a big fan of your work and even though you probably have no idea who I am I’d just like to say I’m standing in faith with you, David and all the other people. The Bible says: Where 2 or more are gathered there the Lord is. And even though we all gather over the net from all around the world I believe he’s hand is over this and I pray that David will be healed and fully restored and that this story will glorify the King of Kings! Our prayers are with you! Love from South Africa
Hi Amy, just wanted to let you know that my church in NY and I are praying for you and David and I belive that God is coming to your rescue and He’s going to bring healing to David’s life.
My heart aches as I read your blog but I’m confident that the God of miracles is in control of this whole situation.
May your faith be renewed and strenhgthened by His power.
Hi Amy, my prayers are with you!!
Amy and David
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you travel this difficult road. Your love for each other
and our God will get you through this challenging time. Hugs and best wishes for a safe surgery
and speedy recovery.

Melanie
Amy and David, I’m one of your workshop girls. Can’t tell you how much I’ve been thinking about you and praying for both of you.
I can’t imagine what you must be feeling through this trial. You will both be in our thoughts and our prayers.
Our prayers go out for David, and especially for you in these tough times. We hope all the best and a speedy recovery.
Best,
C+D.
Oh Amy - I am so sorry to hear this terrible news. I just went to David’s site and read his whole post about how this was discovered. I’m just so thankful that it was found now instead of 5-7 years from now. Praise God for that! I will be praying for both of you as he begins his treatment and begins to heal.
I read about you and your husband on Jasmine’s blog and just wanted to stop by and tell you that you are in my prayers. I pray that God will be there with you every step of the way and give you the comfort and love you need. I pray for nothing but the best outcome.
Praying & believing God to be faithful to you both through the storm, for He is sovereign & His love endures forever.
Although you don’t know me, I frequent your blog regularly as well as Jasmine’s and her post about her conversation with you had me in tears! I sent the blog post to my husband and he then read David’s - we were both so impressed by his upbeat attitude and optimism - he has reacted with such great character, confidence and trust in the Lord - it is a wonderful testament of faith! I just wanted to let you know that our prayers are you with both you and David as well as your family.
I don’t know you, but you’re in my most sincere prayers. Hold on tight to Philippians 4:13. God Bless - PB
I know personally that God works in ways that we can not even begin to imagine and understand that his timing is impeccable. Being a cancer survivor and oncology nurse I know the thoughts that are rushing through David’s head - but don’t let it consume him. Keep your eyes focused on God and know that whatever statistics the doctors are reading off to you don’t matter to God - his will is so much stronger than all those years of research and stats. I will be sure to left both you and David up in my prayers and pray that His strength becomes yours.
Amy, god bless your family,my thoughts a prayers go out to both of you.
You are in our thoughts & prayers!
Many prayers for your husband as well as you in this time, Amy. God is good and by His stripes, we are healed.
I have been following your blog for quite some time, however, I have never commented. Your photography is extraordinary, and I am in awe of your creative abilities! Your last couple of posts have touched my heart. Please know that David (and you) will be in my prayers as you walk this current path. From all that I have read, God has been your daily refuge. May God make it known that He is always near, and may He heal David by His mighty power. Throughout this challenge, it is my prayer that God will hold both of you up, and bless you in incredibly special ways. May He send continual grace from above. I am a faithful reader in Middle Georgia…..
Hey! I’ve never met you, and I can’t say I’ve been in a situation like yours, but I understand. And girl, all I can say..is that it is SO awesome that you are keeping your faith in the Lord, even through something like this. Alwaayyyss keep your faith in Him and what He did at the cross! =) He cares, and He is the healer!! =) I’ll definitely be praying for you both! =)
Oh Amy, there are no words. My thoughts and prayers are with you and David. Many many ((hugs))
I am sending positive thoughts and energy of strength and healing to you and David.
Of course, count me among those praying. There are no other words, but I really believe in the power of prayer, Amy…
Praying for both of you during this difficult time.
Amy, I was choked with emotion when Tannis forwarded your blog site to me. I am praying and will continue to pray for you and David in this time. Even after all of these years, you continue to float into my thoughts and memories. I know God’s grace is sufficient and that in His hands, you will continue to be strong. My love to you… Saren
Praying for you both….
Praying God will hold you and David in His arms and give you a peace that passes all understanding! I am lifting yall up in prayer.
I hope David is doing better. I had three brain surgeries due to a brain tumor before the age of 19. Now I am a homeschool mom. When I posted this link and commented on it, FB put the comment above the link which led to many people thinking that I was ill again. I had to explain what happened which caused great relief to many. They have stated that they will pray for your family. In the USA we have many friends and family members living from coast to coast and boarder to boarder. We also have friends and family members out of the USA right now.
I know that you live in Michigan. My last surgery was in Ohio at the Cleveland Clinic. I am leaving you the link to my doctor. He is trying to create a vaccine for brain tumors. http://my.clevelandclinic.org/staff_directory/2/staff_1129.aspx
God be with you and the physicians. Remember that He is the Great Physician. Use this opportunity to reach the medical personel with the gospel! God allowed this for a reason. Who knows who will come to him as a result of this.
Your sister in Christ,
Jennifer Fjare
Hello. I am a new reader of yours but have been inspired by your work. I just wanted to tell you that I am a prayer and that I have just prayed for your family. I can’t even imagine how difficult this must be. You have a lot of people lifting David up in prayer right now. Your faith is amazing.
Amy,
Leslie from Gulf Shores took photos our my daughter’s wedding,Annie Gray Johnson, last weekend. I was reading on her site and saw her request for prayers for David. Wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to David, you and all family.
I will send a prayer request to my prayer friends, too.
Tissie
For what it is worth, my thoughts are with You, David and your families. Your faith in the Lord will bring forth the strength and courage needed to make it through these difficult times. While such pain may seem to have no meaning or reasoning do not let your faith waver - You need it more now than ever.
God Bless!
Amy,
I don’t know if you know me at all…my daughter Morgan and Heather have been friends for years, literally growing up together at CCC. We came to Philadelphia for Heather and Mike’s wedding and Heather was in Morgan’s wedding this past January. Anyway, I keep in touch with Heather through facebook. I read your blog a few days ago and I just sat there in awe about how you wrote about your faith during this difficult time of finding out about David’s brain tumor. It was amazing. I posted on facebook that I had just read your blog and all I could say was “WOW”. Please know that we are praying for David and for you and your entire family. God is the great Physician and there is no stopping the miracles he can do–who would want to? I will continue to follow the updates and it is helpful to know what to pray for specifically. Keep the faith and run the race that God has set before you.
You are in my prayers.
Hi Amy,
We’ve never met, but I know Mike Coletto from Cedarville. I saw through his facebook page David’s blog and then found your website through a facebook group. What a crazy time this must be for you guys…
I sent Mike a message, but figured sending you a message would be a direct line
I see that he is being treated at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN; I’m from there, my family lives there.
if there’s any we can be a help or if there is ANY kind of need for him or you or your family, please consider letting me know. I know the clinic does a great job with providing info & care, but sometimes you might need to get outside the clinic for a breath of fresh air
Also, I work with a non-profit in Rochester that does “GreatDeeds” for those who might need a helping hand, food, gas, hotel stays, whatever the case may be. If you can think of anything you need, I know the organization would love to help out in some way.
take care!
allison
oh my goodness. . .just read this. wondered what was going on from the previous post.
again……prayers coming your way from tn.
Amy -
My heart goes out to you and David. Your generous nature helped inspire so many of us on Beyond. I pray for strength for you and David to meet this challenge.
Dear Amy, from Amy
Hi there Amy which means “beloved” by the way. I do not know you and just found your website browsing google and I wanted to say I am praying for you and your husband David. I just happened to go to his website to read his update and I am in tears, because I have been sick for 12 awful hellish years of a strange illness with a huge growth in my uterus, amongst a major seizure I had in 1996 and I blacked out & that stopped my body in its tracks and I just started realizing months ago that God destined for this to happen with his own divine purpose in mind, so I am finally just letting go & not trying to cure it anymore and the strange thing is, every doctor has pretty much turned me away, every pathologist and one the other day said I think you are being blocked from healing for some reason, atleast from doctors and I was in shock! So then I thought, God is using this for his will and even though it has turned me upside down, I have gotten into amazing creative areas of my life that I would have never embarked upon were it not this horrific experience, because it has changed me in the deepest ways and I am still alive and here so there must be something God is preparing me for & your husband too!
I loved what he wrote, I just suddenly broke down and cried and it made me realize we have just this moment to cherish and use it to the best of our ability and David could have never taken the time to write that and post it publicly, but he did and it touched me so and I am grateful and I know that he has a much larger purpose in life to touch people in a very special way like he did right now!
Isaiah 40:31 - But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint. (KJV)
4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. He can rise superior to every condition through the strength that Christ gives.
Dear Amy, from Amy
Hi again to you and David! Ok this gives me chills! I just read on David’s website that Psalm 20 is a verse that keeps sticking with him, well that verse came to me about 5 months ago when I was literally done with life and all of this horrific diseased mess and I had no food to eat at that moment and could not go on and I got on my hands and knees and prayed to Jesus and I opened the bible to that very psalm and he answered me and he has been answering me ever since & I have had huge miracles happen in my life as of late!
Please have David read about Tim Greenwood Ministry, in short this man is a walking miracle & testimony of christ! I could barely walk months ago and I found Tim’s ministry online and his testimony is HUGE! He had heart failure suddenly and the hospital gave him several weeks to live and he just took that as a test of his faith and the rest is history! He is STILL ALIVE and his testimony lives strong! His book is FREE by the way, go the website and order it, it is an easy read about how he used scripture and what scripture he used to heal his heart disease through Christ only! Another testimony is Dodi Osteen’s healing scriptures she used to heal her cancer! See link below and embrace that you can pass on your testimony to others once you are done with this, which you will be soon!
Many Blessings!

Living Breakthrough Minded
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“For You, O Lord, are my Lamp; the Lord lightens my darkness”
(II Samuel 22:29, AMP)
TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen, Love them!
I’ve learned when things are difficult and don’t look like they are going our way, that’s when it’s the easiest to lose our joy, vision, and enthusiasm; to believe that things will never get any better. But during those challenging seasons in life, we have to learn to do just the opposite. Right in the midst of the adversity, that’s the time–more than ever–to expect a flood of His favor; a flood of healing, a flood of vindication, a flood of protection. Our attitude should be, “It may be dark, but I know the God of the breakthrough is about to turn things around!” “My child may be off course, but I know the God of the breakthrough is about to bring him back.” “Business may be slow, but I’m expecting the God of the breakthrough to release a flood of His favor, a flood of new clients, a flood of new sales, a flood of promotion.”
Remember, you are in prime position to see the light come bursting in. You’re in prime position for God to give you something to talk about. Keep living breakthrough–minded because He has victory in store for you today!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, thank You for the victory that You have in store for me. I put my trust in You and choose to live breakthrough–minded. Help me to guard my words and guard my heart so I can stay positioned for everything You have in store for me. Amen.
prayers going up for you and your husband!
Amy, I am believing with you that this will be nothing serious, and that the doctors will have wisdom and clarity. I have seen amazing things in the past couple months…I wish I had the room here to share with you to give you the hope and faith I was given in witnessing an amazing healing of my friend. Only the Lord can do it! Praying for you…its been awhile since I have checked on your blog…glad I did. I felt a rush of the HS the second I read this. Praying for you and your hbby…Angela
( the fake belly preggo girl!HAHA)
Dear Amy & David, I have written a couple times and have been following you and your progress…and David your latest blog made me cry and have joy to live in the moment. Hooray for realizing old news, that we can only (according) to his word live in this moment for this day, and that is all we have and he will sustain us! We may make plans but it is up to him as to what & when as the end result!
I know Christ is using this experience of yours to help so many people including YOU! Thank you for writing and keeping us up to date, because even if we do not know one another personally, we are all God’s children and he meant for me to find you at this time to show me to move forward in my own life with courage and strength and to give all my trust in him! I have been so afraid of so many things in the past, and I decided why? Make your dreams happen no matter what because NOW is all we have! You have one another and that is EVERYTHING! You have God, love and hope! “Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot see” Hebrews 11:1. Many Blessings to you and peace of mind and spirit through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because I know “We can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth us!~ From, Amy In California
Dear Amy,
I read your story on Jasmine’s Blog. I just wanted to let you know you and David are in my thoughts and prayers. Stay Strong Girl!
Live Blessed,

praying, praying, praying
Oh Amy, I am just now getting around to visiting your blog for the first time in a while. I am just devistated about what I am reading. As a cancer survivor, I truly know how awesome my Lord Jesus Christ is. Just continue to keep your faith in Him. I know He will see you and David through this trial, and through it all you both will draw nearer to Him. I thank Him all the time for allowing me to have cancer because without it I may have never found Him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and David.
God Bless!
Vanessa
praying for you guys.
Чекан друзей тоже надо учитывать. Дональд Трамп, скажем, на двадцатку потянет.
I keep clicking publish and when I do it the profile is the same as before. It doesn’t save my changes. Will someone help me(:
