I’m back in 2009
Woo!
I am so refreshed. Words can’t express how much I enjoyed relaxing the past 4 weeks. My brain was seriously fried. Fried green tomato. David didn’t even have to hide my keyboard and mouse because shortly after I blogged last my video card went out and my computer had to go to Apple for a fixin’. So I’ve had no computer for quite some time. It was the most pioneer I’ve ever felt. All I was missing was a bonnet and apron. Well, and many incurable diseases. Speaking of diseases, just as I am looking forward to getting up and running again I feel myself getting sick. And lets not mention the tonsillectomy I’ll be enduring on Monday. I’m kind of a baby about doctors and hospitals. I went to have my blood drawn yesterday and I wanted the tech to hold my hand and promise me a lollipop, so I appreciate your prayers if you happen think of me having a hacksaw taken to my throat on Monday. I hear its a painful recovery. Go, me.
Anyways, I’ve been meaning to blog this video but have been a little side tracked with vacation and all. =) David and I were featured in a video for Cisco on how we use technology in our home in conjunction with our careers. My favorite part is when Pegasus goes barreling through the shot. What my rascally cat has to do with technology I do not know, but he sure has a fluffy butt. It was also fun to see the photos Jasmine Star took of us incorporated. You can check it out here.

all that “connected” is too much for me. however, uber cool house and interior design. you should get it featured on designsponge so i can see more! happy new year!
Hi Amy, found your blog a while ago through J*. You will do fine with your tonsillectomy. Just remember that ice cream is overrated and not recommended. I had my tonsils out when I was 29 (a while ago) and it wasn’t too bad. Lots of Jello and apple sauce. And a funny thing my family bought me, was one of those little magnidoodles to write with. Great video as well. Felt right at home, as I have a David as well who is into all of those techno things. Praying for ya on Monday.
Yay! It worked. You’re back.
Loved the video, wish I could have even a fraction of your tech savviness. Your house rocks. Is it always that clean!?
pretty sweet
Amy, how awesome! That’s a great little video about you two
Feel better soon, and good luck with your tonsillectomy!! (Coca-cola and Popsicles got me through mine when I was a little girl) Cheers to 2009!
Great to see that you are back!
I will be crossing my fingers and saying a prayer for you! I had my tonsils out December 3rd and I am already back to tacos!! I’m not going to say it is not painful, but it’s over before you know it and thank goodness you and I will never have strep throat again!

Amy I wish you the best on Monday! I had mine out when I was 11 and it was hard then. So take care and eat lots O’ popsicles.
