Another Baby!
I feel bad– I have so many great photos to share from recent sessions and I have been a very bad blogger indeed. Sometimes life just calls you away for a while to deal with things and before you know it, one, two, three weeks have gone by in the blink of an eye! I’ll try to get the posts rolling again. On Memorial Day we drove across the state to go see my new nephew. He was soooooo sweet. And bendy. And sleepy. All good things for my camera. He is one week old in these photos. I’ve probably said it before, but it is so strange to meet a new family member for the first time. My neices were so excited to show me their new brother. The miracle of life just blows me away every time. It makes me wonder what my older sisters were thinking when my parents brought me home from the hospital as a baby. I was only two years old when my parents brought home my little brother and according to legend I wasn’t very happy about it. (Sorry Jon, you know I love you now!)

I think he looks just like his momma! The choice to use black and white just made them that much more timeless…gorgeous photos.
I feel like I’m getting a glimpse of life inside the womb.
