I am glad it is Friday
I’m sure you will all be relieved to know that Pegasus checked out okay after his scary fall. He is doing just fine. I loved all the pet stories you guys shared with me! Made me feel like less of a crazy cat lady. This warm spring weather today really lifts my spirits. I got out of the house for a while and went in a few of my favorite local shops. When David gets home from work we are going to go out and have some fun together. I can’t wait- work has been keeping him especially busy lately and I need some david time!!!! I’m getting a taste of my own medicine since I used to work such crazy hours, but I’ve been slowly but surely cutting back to get to a place of balance. I actually took vacation from photography for the month of April to work on my Swiss Miss Design stuff. It has been a really fun process and I am very excited about some of the new creations. I’m thankful I have this additional creative outlet in my life. I’ve always been a crafty sort of person- I love to make things, build things, bake things, decorate things….I used to be even more crafty than I am now. I was always buying and painting vintage furniture, smashing tiles and building mosaics, doing abstract watercolor paintings. A couple of years ago someone came into my screened in porch and stole all of my boxes of art supplies. We are talking mega dollars worth of oil and watercolor paints, brushes, darkroom tools, ceramic tiles, you name it. I was so sad. Some of it was very sentimental to me because I used it during Art school. I still haven’t gotten around to replacing it now that I have these other aspects of creativity in my life. Someday I will go buy back everything that stupid thief stole from me.
Here are some senior photos from a session this past school year:

That’s unfortunate what happened to your art supplies! I’m sorry about that. I like the warmness in your photos, doesn’t hurt that the girl is down-right gorgeous too!
Glad your kitty is ok!
Great senior shots. She is gorgeous!
Amy-
The pics look great. I can’t wait until our phone consult on Tuesday! I am so eager to learn from you. I had to laugh at your blog- my husband makes fun of me because I am always looking for something new to paint… whether it’s a wall, an old piece of furniture or a new piece of furniture that I want to look old. Sounds like you’re very artistic. Don’t you just love it!
