My house is a war zone right now. Boxes everywhere. Things half packed or just flung over tables, chairs and countertops. I seriously feeling like I’m losing my mind. The disorganization. The chaos!!! It’s almost impossible to walk from one end of the house to the other without stumbling. The moving truck will be here on Saturday and I cannot wait!! I am so excited to be snuggled up on the couch in the new place listening to Christmas records, staring at what is going to be my magnificent Christmas tree. So if I can just finish up my last few photo orders, finish packing up all my darned belongings and successfully move without breaking anything (my leg included) I will be ONE HAPPY CAMPER! On a lighter note- Pegasus is curled up in my top paper tray watching the snow flurries fall. It’s his first snow! How cute is that??

I am so sorry for neglecting you. I will make it up to you somehow. I never meant for things to go so wrong. I thought I could handle moving into a new house and blogging, but apparently not. I was never good at multi-tasking. It’s not my spiritual gift. Please accept these photos as a peace offering.
Love,
Your blog Mother, Amy

I can start listening to Christmas music now. It’s time to eat lots of food, regret it, and swear to yourself you are going to start working out on Monday. =) I’ll be away on holiday until Mon Nov 26. I just wanted to let my clients know that I will return emails and phone calls and when I get back. Enjoy the Holiday!

It’s like trying to move underwater. Everything is in slow motion. Usually on days like this I just bribe myself with small pleasures, "Amy, if you get your work done you can have _______ " (insert junk food or decaf latte). I seem to do well with the reward system. =) I’m no better than a 2 year old, really.

Since we are moving this month we are starting to get rid of alot of stuff, donating some of the furniture we don’t want and picking out some cool new peices for our new place. Today we bought an amazing mid-century modern sideboard at a local boutique. It was an interesting time trying to get it home due to the fact that I have infected david with the black lung, and we are both a little, shall we say "winded", when trying to do anything that requires exertion. David’s voice is completely gone. Anyways with the help of the store lady we managed to get the huge thing into the back of the SUV and proceeded to drive it home.
Getting it out of the car with the just the two of us was a different issue. I’m standing there staring at it and I’m like , "I can’t do it. I can’t." The funny thing is that on a good day I could probably single handedly get a piano up a staircase by the sheer force of my will power alone. Before I know it- David (with his scratchy, whispery voice) stops this guy who is going by on his bike with his dog and asks him to help unload the sideboard out of the car. It was pretty funny… I’m standing there holding this strangers dog while they get the thing out of the car and up to the house. Now, if I was riding by on my bike with my dog I don’t know that I would care to stop and help strangers unload their furniture. So, random man on bike, if by some freak chance of nature you happen to read my blog- THANK YOU for helping us sickly wussy school girls get our new furniture out of the car.

Little Sis hopped in for a few shots…
